My main interest is in the industrial railways of all over the world, but
especially Germany & Austria. I am hoping to use the Net to collect and spread news on
industrial railways and link up with like-minded enthusiasts. This is my first attempt at
setting up a home page, so I hope you will excuse the rather rough appearance! I have just
added a page, for various news items, and I have a few links that you might find
interesting, and a couple of pages on the Industrial
Railway Society. I have been a member of the IRS for over 30 years, and can thoroughly
recommend membership to anybody interested in this sort of railway. I think I should admit
a bit of a bias, as I am also the IRS records keeper for Germany and Austria, and also
help produce some of their books! By the way, anybody reading this from the other side of
the 'pond' should note that our IRS has nothing at all to do with
the 'Feds' or taxes! If you are interested in swapping news on industrial railways around
the world, but especially on Germany and Austria, then why not drop me a line?
For the last 30 years I have been making trips to various countries around the world, looking for industrial railways. I have now started to post copies of these reports on a new page, so why not have a look to see if there is anything that interests you?
